A Message from the President to CAC Members

Dear CAC members,
I am enclosing below a letter from the Meadowlark Service League (MSL), in hopes that Camarillo Art Center members will consider helping with their Silent Auction this year.
CAC has received grant money from MSL over the last several years. With these funds, we have been able to replace our flooring and update electrical fixtures at the center to make them more energy efficient.
Additionally, the Camarillo Art Center  will get publicity for donations from our members.  It will be a nice way to get the Camarillo Art Center name out more into the public – something that is very much needed.
If you are interested, please contact me directly and I will set a day to meet you at the Art Center to coordinate a donation.  Donations will be needed no later than July 14, 2016.

June Exhibit At the Camarillo Art Center is a Must See

CAC’s newest show, “More Mondays With Audrey,” opens on Saturday, June 4, and runs through June 26.

Watercolor instructor Audrey Rubin and eight of her students will exhibit recent works.  Participating artists Mary Baldonado, Linda Chen, Janet Colby, Gloria Colvin, Millie Downey, Mary Kaspar, Sharon Kolsch, and Susannah Sofaer-Kramer., along with their instructor, have mounted a show of over 60 pieces of art.

A reception to meet the artists and view the exhibit is open to the public on Sunday, June 12, from 1-4 pm.

Usual weekend hours at the CAC Gallery are Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 pm.  In addition, visitors may drop in on Mondays between 12:30 and 3 pm, and on Thursday mornings from 9 am to noon.
