Dear Kelly,

Meadowlark Service League (MSL) of Camarillo would like to ask for your support in the upcoming 30th Annual Taste of Camarillo, to take place on Sunday, July 30, 2017. This food and wine tasting event will be held again on the beautiful front lawn of the Camarillo Ranch, an incredible venue, rich in the history of our city.

We would love if the Camarillo Art Center could support our Silent Auction by making a donation. All donors will be noted prominently, along with their items, in the auction display. In addition, donations received by July 14, 2016, will be acknowledged in our event program. Last year, more than two hundred wineries, restaurants, caterers and other local businesses generously provided samples and auction items to nearly 2,000 attendees. The beautiful paintings donated by your artists in 2016 were admired and appreciated by all.

Meadowlark Service League is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds for charitable groups in the greater Ventura County area. Just last week, we donated $245,000 to local non-profit groups. MSL volunteers have been able to accomplish our fundraising goals with very little overhead expense. This is due in part to the support of generous donors, such as you. MSL was formed in 1971 in order to support charitable organizations such as Food Share, Camarillo Hospice, the Cancer Center of Ventura County, the Boys and Girls Club, the Rescue Mission, the Brain Injury Center, as well as awarding more than 20 scholarships to graduating seniors from Rio Mesa and Adolfo Camarillo High Schools.

Your consideration and support are truly appreciated. One hundred percent of our profits directly benefit local charities as there are no paid MSL employees. For your records, our Federal 501(c) 3 Tax ID is 23-7170994. We are also actively registered on the California Attorneys General Registry of Charitable Organizations, Registration No. 013530. If you have any questions, please feel free to call me at 987-3581.

Sincerely,

Cindy Neff
